WHAT IS IT THAT WE ARE TRYING TO REALIZE WHEN WE SEEK SELF-REALIZATION?

Self-realization has been explained by various well-known philosophers and psychiatrists, for example, Carl Jung, is one of my favorite philosophers. Carl Jung explained that once the ego becomes one with the self, it is individuation, it is a process where the psychological life changes.

From my own experience, I have discovered that this process is profoundly life-altering. After that major shift in my life, I had to find myself, but along the way, I found much more than I was looking for. I found that self-realization helped me to see the negative aspects of myself and present the positive aspects. I realize that in trying to find my purpose, I didn't connect to make the old version of who I was.

While searching, I realized that I had far more abilities than I showed. For example, I was not aware that I could learn different things and explore hobbies I never had time to exercise. Seeking in me, I found the confidence in myself that I had closed because of personal reasons that I will not talk about. I have come to know myself better and realize that I am far more than I took credit for, and I have found my purpose.

I conclude that self-realization is a deep search into those abilities, we try to hide or we subconsciously hide because of different dramas, or issues that we go through in life. I hope that by me, sharing my experience on this subject, some of you are encouraged to look within and find your purpose and what holds you back.
