Poetry is easy

if you let it speak

but it’s a red wine

- it needs to exhale a bit.


diverse notes.

acidic and basic.

made of burlap

and silk. 

you can't grasp it too forcefully

or grip it too firmly.


it’s delicate.


the stanzas are

sewn together

with silvery threads...

which is why poetry is best on

long days with partial clouds.
