I like when people think

I don't know the games

that they play.

 

When they think my

kindness naivety and that

I don't hear the lies they say.

 

The truth is apparent

when they try

so hard to deceive.

 

But I've learned to

pretend like

I truly believe.

 

The images they

paint are in the

brightest of hues.

 

Their tapestries

lend themselves

to the obvious clues.

 

They give themselves

up with their

obvious disguise.

 

I laugh even harder

exposing their

incredulous lies.
