CONVERSATIONS WITH BANJO THE DOG

Banjo the Dog [wakes up, yawns, turns over]: "I thought I heard Star Trek. Which one is this?"
Me [in stentorian voice]: "The episode is called 'Whom Gods Destroy.'"
Banjo the Dog: "Oh, yeah. This is the one where Batgirl plays the green alien girl."
Me: "Hee! Yeah. Her name was Yvonne Craig."
Banjo the Dog: "Isn't this the episode that was banned in the UK?"
Me: "I don't know. Why would it be banned?"
Banjo the Dog: "The alien girl's lusty dance. It was too much for the British censors."
Me: "Hmm." [Watches alien girl's dance.] "Seems pretty tame to me."
Banjo the Dog: "Yeah, well, times were different back then, I guess."
Me: "I guess."
Banjo the Dog: "The actor that plays Garth, he has a lot of lines, given that he's not one of the regulars."
Me: "Yeah. It takes a lot of lines to establish a character as a nut."
Banjo the Dog: "Shush! I want to hear this."
Me [rolls eyes]: "Yes, Your Majesty."
