A glass of Merlot can solve many problems- but it's only temporary

It will not fix what broke or keep fragile pieces from falling apart

It will not add a shining glow to the faces of the wary

The one thing it can do is pull you from the present - it is not a fresh start

It's a temporary fix to underlying issues that you bury

Only a weak glue to fix you part by part

Users should be wary that it's simply temporary

    I felt this. I've struggled with substance abuse and it's a hard one to beat. It creeps up on you, you never expect it to form a tight grip on you and then it does just that.

      Thank you so much for your feedback! It is definitely something I feel many can relate to, substance abuse or not. It seems like just something to take off the edge but then it can spiral. I thought it was an important message to get out there and I am so glad you could relate to it.
