I look back to see the horror I've gone through
I want to forget but my mind won't let it go
Now I embrace it like a drunk to their brew
I hold tight to the trauma, it sickens me though

Looking back I wonder if I did something wrong
But I know I was never awful nor bad
Trapped inside my body is where it belongs
This monster inside me, damn right it looks sad
