WAKING AFTER A LONG WINTER

I awoke to a burning yellow ball

glaring through the window and hot

blinding

quivering through the passing clouds

Such a thing I had not seen

In what seemed to be a lifetime

and so I forgot what it was

thinking to myself the end of the world

This imagery of this is absolutely amazing. I can only imagine the surprise, the beauty, the curiosity and intrigue, and near fear of the sight. The short phase of emotions. You so swiftly painted so much beautiful imagery and emotion. Lovely work.
