we are magnetic, you know?
pulled each other in teeth and nails
screaming until we collided
and connected
with a clarity that was
so silent it was
deafening.
we’ve been together since we met,
and i know it’s ridiculous but
that’s really your fault
because i can’t seem
to regret your
gray-green-blue eyes.
we should be scared, shouldn’t we?
shaking and shivering
that we fit together so
god damn effortlessly.
i’ve got nothing but laughter lately,
and i blame that on you.

I love these lines, this reminds me of the sentiment, "it's too good to be true," or having experience previous let-downs, so feeling like it can' t be too far off for this to fail too. -

Beautiful poem! I felt the same way about my husband when we started to fall in love. It was freaky. Like we had known and loved eachother for centuries and our souls had met yet again to be together.
